About Shepherd Help & Rescue Effort

Founded in 2011, S.H.A.R.E. consists of a group of animal lovers with a deep passion for the German Shepherd breed. Each volunteer works tirelessly to save these regal dogs from high-kill shelters, specifically within the Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach County areas. In addition to rescuing German Shepherds in need, S.H.A.R.E. provides each and every rescued dog with the health care they need, often providing those in their care with medical treatment for various conditions including heartworm and orthopedic issues from traumatic injuries. Once they are ready for adoption, S.H.A.R.E. places each German Shepherd in a loving foster home where they can be trained and socialized so these intelligent and loyal dogs can find the perfect family and forever home.
